EXPLORE OUR PREVIOUS PROJECT

As graduates from FGCU, we had accepted a job offer with the Minnesota Department
of Transportation (MDOT) to work as structural engineers. As in introduction to this career, the
state of Minnesota assigned us to perform a preliminary design of a new Snow Plow
Storage Facility. It was important to minimize the cost by selecting the lightest structural
members as possible, while confirming with ASCE 7-16 and visual analysis software to ensure
allowable stress design limits throughout the structure.
